According to the company, more than 15 million yuan ($2.21 million) has been donated through a series of initiatives supporting training, entrepreneurship and cultural development.

As part of the weeklong program, two female inheritors, Li Huanzhi and Chen Yanqiu, visited Starbucks heritage-themed stores in Suzhou and Nanjing, Jiangsu province, and Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, to share their experiences of preserving traditional crafts and building sustainable livelihoods through cultural industries.

Across the country, Starbucks employees also introduced customers to the stories behind traditional crafts and the women dedicated to preserving them. Hands-on workshops allowed participants to learn bamboo-weaving techniques and create Dragon Boat Festival-themed ornaments inspired by traditional craftsmanship.
